About the event
The Level 5 Advanced Open Coastal Kayak Skills Award is structured as a consolidation training that is followed by an authentic, performance assessment. That means that paddlers will be assessed on their paddling skills and knowledge in the Level 5 AOWCK venue and conditions. This will involve scenarios and simulations alongside paddling and exploring a variety of coastal areas. This is the highest award offered by the American Canoe Association for sea kayaking.
